The Joseph R. Lynch Observatory at Drexel University

Teacher Enrichment

The Drexel University Department of Physics is offering an 8 week astronomy seminar series for Philadelphia School District teachers. Please check this page for updates about the series, and listings of the resources that are discussed in the series. Some slides and images from each seminiar will also be posted here.

The first seminar meeting is at 5pm 19 November 2007, in Disque 919, on Drexel's main campus. Directions to Drexel's main campus are available--Disque Hall is building number 12 on the map at that link. The Drexel Parking Services website has an interactive map of parking lot locations around Drexel--the Non-Drexel Parking Facilities (pink) are available for those without permits.

NOTE: Next class is January 14th! No class on September 17th.

Please contact John Parejko to register, or if you have any other questions. You can view the course syllabus here (pdf).
