Dear comrades,
I am a graduate student in Physics
at Drexel University; I'm also as a three-time award winning TA
and serve as the department's System Administrator,
pioneering
major upgrades (both hardware and software) including the introduction
of student driven wikis.
Having spent my freshman year of undergraduate studies as an English
major, I was pulled back to Physics by a love for the subject that
began long ago. I can finally say that I "do Physics". My interests
include Quantum
Mechanics
and Nonlinear
Dynamics.
Like a moth to a flame, I continue to take graduate level Math
classes here at
Drexel and have had the privilege of receiving such comments on my
graded homeworks as "Lazy. Do it!" and "You're not a physicist in
here just compute the things!".
In agreement with the free software spirit,
I put as much of my work as I deem useful on my webpage. I've even thrown in a few
non utilitarian things as well: I am a dilettante in photography
and prose, and some samples are included here.
Comments are welcome.
Fraternally,
Timothy Jones
