Final Exam

As a reminder, the final exam is March 18, 2008, 0800-1000, Matheson 311. Up-to-date information for all final exams (not just this class) can be found at: http://www.drexel.edu/registrar/exam_schedules.asp. On the exam day you will get back all graded assignments after you turn in your final. Study hard, and good luck!

Cup of Recitation #1 & #2

The two juggernauts are out in force at the beginning of this semester! Eshelman's first recitation is a good working example of a clean interface. He also adds ability to visualize conservation of angular momentum with an arbitrary number of stars. Mehta's submission for the second rectation (part A, part B) is a great example of clean code and a good working model of the Lennard-Jones potential. Observe the LJ model and how it simulates weak bonding and hard-core repulsion. Good work both of you!

Remember that the real goal of the Cup of Recitation is to learn from the code and technique of your classmates.

Welcome back!

The first homework is graded and will be passed back on Wednesday in class. Remember that each homework assignment is weighted equally, but for grading convenience each problem is weighted for 10 points. Solutions are posted in the sidebar to the right. If you have any question on the grading or the homework itself, please come to office hours.
