Photos of our house

This house is a little hard to photograph as it is tall and twisty but has a lot of character. It is situated in Queen's Village, One block from South Street - a very cool Philly neighbourhood. 80 years old, four floors of living space with a roof deck on top - not for the faint hearted. We love it though.

The entrance - you go through a gate and there are around 10 houses, called trinities, that surround the courtyard. Everyone seems nice so far.

This is the entrance.

The living room - spot the nationalities of the people living here. I guess Francisco likes drums.... The fire place is fake but that means we actually use it. We painted the bookcases that colour - we like it.

Dave and Francisco in the kitchen. All new appliences, very nice. Not a room for tall people though.

And the other side. Spot the hot cross buns that I made.

You go up from the living room to get to the bathroom.

And the second bedroom that will be a guest room so please come and stay. The F&F B&B is always open.

Up the stairs one more time to the main bedroom. There are close to 60 stairs from kitchen to roof.

Francisco and I in the bedroom - like the yellow? We do. We picked it. We have blue curtains like the bedspread.

And another angle complete with picture of me running. That is where the wedding picture will go.

Finally up to the roof deck. It is larger than it appears in this photo - the same size as the living room and bedroom. I'll grow things over the pergula.

And the view - well sort of. Didn't quite come out but for those who know Philly you can sort of imagine Liberty Place. We'll get some more photos of this soon.
