Miss Bellows Falls Diner
Bellows Falls
12/11/98: i have spent a lot of time in Miss Bellows Falls Diner having been born in Bello ws Falls. I started to eat there when the Moisis family owned the place, when t here were still individual juke boxes at the booths. i love the wooden booths, the tile, the red seats, the menus, the curtains, the view out the window which once looked upon a printing place i think, until it burned down. i live in Por tland, Oregon now and visit my parents in bellows falls as much as i can. Ate a t the diner this very Springtime. Good work on your web page. i love it.-- Review by: marenar@aol.com

Dot's Restaurant
3DRoute 9, Center of Town, Wilmington
Absolutely the best in the Northeast. The breakfast's they serve are so huge you have to ask for a second plate just to fit all of it on. Great prices. The blueberry pancakes and three berry pancakes are phenomenal and are bigger than the plates, and you get three of them topped off with real maple syrup. This place has won the Northeast Chili cookoff for the last 4 or 5 years. The best I have tasted. I lived up there for some time as a youngster and I can tell you the place is not advertised at all to tourists.

I'm from NJ but I still visit the state with my son about 10 times a year and NEVER fail to eat in this place. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner in there for years. -- Review by Ron Madia

Putney Diner
Center of town, Putney. Not an architecturally pure diner, but typical of the home-cooking places in the north country. Great red flannel hash and the world's best pot roast. It's slow cooked without the rolls of fat that you often find. The pies are homemade. A great stop for breakfast for those heading north for a day of skiing.--Review by Mike Ingram
