We will still have a theme, although much broader than in other quarters: Current Research in Astrophysics.
General Format: We will experiment with a slightly different form of discussion this term: I propose weekly *discussions* of an article dealing with a topic of interest for the member of the group that would *lead* the groupthink. The choice of the paper should be discussed in advance with one of the faculty members or postdocs. Presentations in the usual colloquium format, e.g., power point, are encouraged, however not required. Nonetheless, the expectations are that the papers are read by the entire group that would actively participate in the parley. An obvious place to look for potential papers remains:

We also strongly encourage students to become familiar and search the ADS astronomy page for articles that are already published, and thus peer reviewed, at:

I would also suggest that graduate students engaged in research should present results from their work.
