Applications of statistical mechanics in the study of Alzheimer's disease.

The AD project at the CPS aims to apply statistical mechanics methods to the study of neuroscience, in particular to the Alzheimer's disease. Alzeimer's disease is a progressively neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system. This disease is experienced by an increasing number of elders.

For more information about the Alzheimer's disease project I prepared a web page with overviews and research results. This AD page is a collection of all of the collaborative projects that are going on between medical scientists from the Harvard Medical School and Boston University.

For general AD reference, I have collected some Alzheimer-related links that is still growing.
