Uniform model with aggregation, disaggregation, feedback and surface diffusion rules. The starting conditions for the system is a solid sphere of 5 pixels in radius. Initially, the disaggregation probability is equal to 0, and as the cluster grows, the feedback increases that probability from 0 to the value of the growing probability. At this point, the number of pixels in the system is stabilized. For the case of no surface diffusion, the effective radius of the cluster grows in time. The surface diffusion rule is applied a total of 10 times after each timestep. The effective radius as well as the average density of the model plaque reach a saturation value.
