Welcome To Sophomore Class at Drexel University

This Phys 201 course page has been developed for the specific purpose of communicating with  sophomore engineering/science students in Phys201  lecture groups A and B. These students will receive all the assignments, material summaries and help with the Fundamentals of Physics III course material and, also be able to communicate with faculty. We expect to update this homepage every week.

Prof. T. S. Venkataraman (e-mail: venkat@drexel.edu) is in charge of Phys 201 - Fundamentals of Physics III in Fall 2008.

In this sophomore physics course, we expect every student to read the course material from assigned chapters before attending the lectures.  Since the course involves a number of new concepts, please read the assigned chapters from Principles of Physics  textbook by Raymond A. Serway and John W. Jewett Jr. before every lecture/recitation.

Together, we will work hard and give you an enjoyable, rewarding, challenging and worthwhile sophomore year experience.
