Some useful commands for our computer lab. Add to them when you find them!

Desktop Folder to Home Directory

On desktop: Right click and select "Create Launcher"

In the Command field: Type "nautilus /home/newton#/usrname"

Be sure to leave the space after 'nautilus /'. Fill in the # and usrname as necessary. To figure out which Newton you are on, open a terminal and type pwd. You can go ahead and just copy the result over.

Select a name and icon for this folder and you are set.
